About Our Partnership

Established over 30 years ago, IMELCO (International Marketing Electrical Corporation) is the largest international group of independent electrical wholesalers in Europe, Australasia, and North America.

From its very beginning, IMELCO has been providing essential and worthwhile support to its members, bringing into focus the significant role of the independent electrical distributors as well as the growing importance of transboundary cooperation.

In response to requests from its members to help address their e-commerce product content needs and enable them to more effectively compete online, IMELCO established a new member service provider program in 2019, of which DDS was named a founding member.

DDS was introduced to the IMELCO membership as a strategic technology partner and third-party expert to help manage the exchange of critical e-commerce product content between manufacturers and wholesalers while easing and expediting the delivery of that content so those companies can remain focused on their core competencies.
